Clermont Auvergne INP has received support from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region for two international projects carried out with partners in Japan and the Philippines. Both initiatives combine mobility, education, research and the ecological transition, with the aim of strengthening the institution’s international cooperation around major scientific and environmental challenges.
The JapanAURA Climate Innovation Program will bring together French and Japanese engineering students through intensive sessions held in France and Japan. Working in mixed teams, students will address topics such as decarbonisation, industrial resilience, sustainable materials, artificial intelligence, robotics and eco-design.
The DUO project, carried out with De La Salle University in the Philippines, aims to strengthen cooperation in biological engineering and prepare a French-Philippine dual-degree programme. The associated research projects will focus in particular on bio-based and biodegradable solutions designed to improve crop resilience to climate change and water stress.
