Nominating and application period – incoming exchange students

Please observe the semester dates of Clermont Auvergne INP. Exceptions must always be negotiated with the faculty (i.e. if a student wishes to carry out research, an exchange period outside the semester dates may be possible). You should contact international@clermont-auvergne-inp.fr to request such an exception. Students can be nominated for 1 or 2 semesters according to the agreement. We accept nominations for the following academic year March 1st onwards.

Deadlines for nominations:

Fall semester and full academic year: May 15th

Spring semester: November 1st

The academic year and teaching periods

The academic year begins every year on September 1st and ends on the last day of the following August. The fall semester begins on September 1st and ends on in December or January according to the study program. The spring semester begins usually beginning/mid January and ends in July. Teaching is arranged during the teaching periods.

The exchange students and visiting students are granted a study right within the academic year for certain dates depending on their studies and activities, thus the dates of the beginning and ending of your study right may not correspond with the dates above. You can check the dates of your student right from the exchange certificate you will receive from the International Exchange Services at the Engineering Graduate schools upon your acceptance to Clermont Auvergne INP.
